It started with two simple questions: "Does the outfit work?" and "How can I find the clothes I see on social media?"

Redress came from a familiar moment: sending a fit check, asking friends, posting a look, and still not getting a clear answer. Existing platforms make fashion social, but they rarely make feedback useful. We wanted a place where style could be judged with more nuance than a like, while the clothes featured in real outfit videos could be easier to find.

Likes are too binary for style. At the same time, clothes that you like are hard to find.

A like can mean anything: support, attention, habit, or reach. But an outfit is not just liked or ignored. Color, silhouette, proportion, confidence, styling, and context all matter. Redress turns that vague reaction into a clearer 1-10 outfit rating signal, while giving users a path to link clothing items from the look.

We built Redress around the outfit, not the follower count.

The product has been built as a fast vertical outfit feed where the look comes first. Users can post outfit videos, react quickly, rate outfits from 1 to 10, and discover style through real people rather than polished brand campaigns. A strong outfit should be able to stand out before the creator has a huge audience.
